This practical mini-course shows educators and course designers how to embed web content inside Moodle and other LMS platforms (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.). You will learn two complementary approaches: using the H5P I-Frame Embedder and writing a small amount of raw I-frame HTML in a text editor.

What you will learn

• H5P I-Frame Embedder: How to insert external web content safely and responsively using H5P.
• Create your own I-frame code: Hand-craft a few lines of HTML to embed pages, widgets and simulations.
• Practical examples: Geogebra geometry & algebra embeds, simulations about gases, and an embedded Moodle Wikipedia page.
• Cross-LMS best practice: Techniques that work reliably in Moodle, Canvas and Blackboard.
• Accessibility & security: Tips for responsive embeds and avoiding common pitfalls (mixed-content, sandboxing, sizing).

Course structure & outcomes

The course opens with demonstration examples of embedded web content and then guides you through step-by-step pages showing the H5P I-Frame Embedder and how to author your own I-frame HTML. The module finishes with a five-question multiple-choice quiz (questions drawn from a pool of 10).
